You just built an absolute masterpiece of a funnel for a client’s flash sale. The copy is dialed in. The creatives are stopping the scroll. You launch the ads, the traffic spikes, and you sit back waiting for the Stripe notifications to roll in.
But the conversions are completely flat. You check the heatmaps and see prospects reading the offer, lingering on the checkout button, and then bouncing. Why? Because they think they have all the time in the world. They tell themselves, “I will just buy this tomorrow,” and they completely forget. You are burning your client’s ad spend because there is absolutely zero urgency on the page.
You cannot scale an agency if your funnels let prospects procrastinate. HighLevel fixes this instantly. You can inject real, ticking urgency directly into your funnels with reusable Countdown Timers. Force prospects off the fence, drive immediate action, and skyrocket your conversion rates. Let us get your funnels optimized right now.
Ready to streamline this? Here is exactly how to do it in 60 seconds:
Part 1: Build Your Timer
First, we need to design the timer before we drop it onto your page.
- Navigate to Marketing > Countdown Timers.
- Click the blue + New button to create a brand new timer.
- Choose a Countdown Timer template that fits your aesthetic and click Continue with Template.
Part 2: Configure the Urgency Logic
Let us tell the system exactly how this timer should behave.
- Under the General tab on the top left, choose your Timer Type: select Fixed (ends at a specific date), Recurring (resets daily/weekly), or Dynamic (adjusts uniquely per contact interaction).
- Set your Timer End Date, select a Time Zone, and define your Redirect URL so anyone who misses the deadline gets sent to an “Offer Expired” page.
- Pro Tip: Enable Adapt to Contact Time Zone so the deadline dynamically updates to match the user’s exact local time.
Part 3: Style the Timer
Make it look like a seamless part of your agency’s branding.
- Click on the Style tab on the left side of the menu.
- Toggle exactly which time units you want to display (hours, minutes, seconds).
- Customize the timer’s font, size, and colors using the style controls so it perfectly matches your client’s funnel.
Part 4: Drop It Into Your Funnel
Now let us put this ticking clock in front of your traffic.
- Navigate to Sites > Funnels.
- Select your desired site, then click Edit Page on the specific funnel step you want to update.
- In the top-left of the builder, click the plus (+) icon to open the Add Element panel.
- Select the Countdown Timers element and drag it into the correct section of your page. Simply choose your newly created timer from the list!
- (Building on a third-party platform? Go back to your timer in the Marketing tab, hit Copy Code, and drop it into a standard Code element inside your funnel editor).
Injecting visual urgency into your funnels ensures your prospects stop hesitating and actually pull out their credit cards.
